Expansion is stalled for a few months with Jupiter turning retrograde on
February 1. This puts a temporary ceiling on financial increase while it
helps to even out the rapid growth that has been happening over the last
several months.
February starts with a bit of foggy or idealistic thinking. This might
seem dreamy or it could feel confused. The first of this month is not a
time of great clarity, or honesty. Beware when making any important
commitments. You might be seeing the potential, but you may not be
getting full disclosure. Ask more questions, especially if something
looks too good to be true. Better insight is gained after the middle of
the month. A good time to put plans into action will be just before the
Full Moon.
This month has a romantic influence flowering just in time for
Valentine’s Day. Loving energies will flow throughout the middle of the
month. This is a great time to heal hurts, ask forgiveness, and make
amends in relationships. Some longer-term energy has been pushing
relationship issues to the point of bend or break. The more loving
energies of mid-month will go a long way in harmonizing tensions and
supporting positive resolutions where there has been stalemate. This
energy is just as good for business dealings as intimate relations.
Communication and decision-making are more crisp and clear toward the
end of the month. Mercury, the communication planet is moving fast and
making many contacts to slow-moving planets through February. The most
potent days for agreements, contracts and general discussions that lead
to fruitful outcomes this month are February 9, 12, 19, 22, and 27.
There continues to be a pair of powerful, slow-moving planets
interacting in a discordant relationship that forces adjustment and
compromise regarding issues of power and control. The tension is high
for the end of February and into March, as this is the strongest and
most potentially disruptive contact of several months duration. This
tension will peak in March when both slow planets stop and change
direction. One turns direct, the other turns retrograde. The stationary
motion of these planets emphasizes their energy as if they were grinding
their heels. Their stressful interaction could bring powerful results.
The strength of this tension relates strongly to governmental issues and
matters relating to the masses of people. Laws relating to personal
freedoms, privacy, information, and surveillance will top the list. It
is timely to be more alert to both State and National legislations.
International relationships are also strongly challenged through the
winter and spring. This may be the beginning of some difficult times for
the USA to get support for the war effort.
Something very challenging is on the near horizon. Economic factors are
unstable. It is best to make improvements that will promise stability.
Take advantage of the opportunity to make adjustments that are practical
and that will benefit your life for a long time. This is not a good time
to take big risks or stretch farther than you can be sure to reach. This
is not a year of increasing prosperity in most regards. It will be
better to be cautious and work diligently to make the best of touchy
times. |
