November begins with Pisces Moon slipping past Saturn and Neptune, both retrograde, and taking us on a review of things we were focused on last spring. You might notice that some of the same topics you were dealing with in your life at the end of May through July are cropping up again this month. The good news is that there will also come some resolutions that you may not have even thought of before.

Full Moon on November 5, is at 13 Taurus. Venus, in charge of Taurus, is at 28 Libra, the other sign that Venus rules and the place where the next New Moon sets the stage for the holiday season. Venus gives dignity and compassion to make way for promising ideas regarding moderating spending, keeping others who we love in mind, and putting family time as a priority.

Full Moon in Taurus

The Full Moon chart set for Puna has the degree of the last Solar Eclipse on the rising and Neptune at 29 Pisces on the cusp of the seventh house, the place of others, which may keep us in suspense of situations we have little or no control over. Neptune can represent ideals and spirituality, but it is also a planet of fog, confusion, and deception. Be kind and loving to others yet also keep your own counsel making important relationship decisions through the month. Commitments may not be as solid as you wish, as these end of Pisces degrees have fixed stars that are associated with disaster. Just recognize that times are not as trustworthy as you expect. Consider situations you may have experienced back in the early summer months.

Mars has just entered Sagittarius and opposes Uranus, which can be volatile, disruptive, and exaggerated. Uranus is an energy of unexpected changes and abrupt developments. Venus ends her period of strength in Libra and enters Mars’ sign Scorpio where it will be challenged for the rest of this month. Don’t let passion overrule reason this week in your relationships as Venus’ contacts with outer planets this week can make emotions stressful by taking comments as deeply personal.

Mercury stations retrograde on Sunday, the 9th, in Sagittarius where it is with Mars. Fighting words could cause more damage than situations call for and you may find yourself apologizing very soon. The Leo Moon over the 10th to 12th often causes issues to be dramatized. Jupiter also goes retrograde under the third quarter moon phase where there is waning strength to clarify matters. Wait for more information instead of reacting to what may feel like insults that might not be intended. Mercury and Mars conjunct on the 12th. Listen carefully to get the details before you cause more difficulties in home and work situations. This is a tough time to seek new employment. Better to be humble and save the job. Teamwork can lighten the load through the rest of the week with the support of moon in Virgo, sign of work, service and helping hands.

Sunday, November 16 can be a joyful day for family gatherings when the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn form a grand trine in water signs, bringing young ones and elders into commonality with storytelling and sharing hopes for the future.

New Moon in Scorpio

The New Moon at 28 Scorpio on Wednesday, the 19th, sets up an opportunity for problem solving when everyone shares ideas and insights with Mercury conjunct the Sun and in opposition to Uranus now back in Taurus. This is another theme reconciling financial and security topics. The grand trines prevail this week with family needs taking the spotlight. Keep the focus on how to share resources and cozy up around plans to benefit everyone as the holiday season starts and it gets tempting to spend. Keep in mind the challenges that are ahead and stay practical under the Capricorn Moon next weekend when Mercury (ideas and communication) is in a trine aspect with Saturn (planning and budgeting).

The benefics Venus and Jupiter will be in a trine with Saturn which also goes retrograde on Thanksgiving Day. Hopefully, you can hold off tough family conversations until the weekend, and everyone can share their hopes and wishes without too much emotion.

Mercury stations direct on Saturday. Opportunities will seem to take on new possibilities after the Moon leaves Pisces and enters Aries, sign of action, and Venus enters Sagittarius, the sign of optimism on Sunday, making plans that will energize hopes for the future. This will be a better period of planning and preparation for holidays.

Stay safe everyone and don’t get too overwhelmed by world events we cannot affect by arguing with those we really want to keep close.
